Is It Santa Fe Community College Guarantees Transfer Admissions Into Uf?
I am a student at Polk Community College right now, go to UF college of pharmacy is my dream. But i heard the students in Santa Fe community college students are guarantee transfer admissions into UF?
I also heard UF won’t take any other transfer students besides Santa Fe? One of my classmates she has a 3.98 GPA, but she didn’t get in UF.
My major is Pharmacy right now, got 3.66 GPA. If those information are true, i think should transfer to Santa Fe immeditly.
Thank you so so much for yall answer

I graduated from UF and I know for a fact that it is not guaranteed. Although attending Santa Fe may improve your chances because SF is suppose to be a pretty good school, but there are other things that they look at to consider admissions (dedication, courseload per semester, ability to be involved on campus, volunteer or work experience.). If possible make a trip to the campus and try to get know the admission persons or email them and try and get your name notice. I know they look at thousands of applications but don’t let that discourage you. I am not sure how Polk Community College is judged academically but if you feel that transferring will be better than go for it. GPA is good but show some dedication by getting involved. Good Luck!!!!!

I went to UF. I knew a lot of people who started out at Sante Fe and were able to transfer into UF even though they had not initally been accepted straight from highschool. I;’m not aware of any guarantee though, nor of other community colleges being excluded. Sounds a little fishy to me. Why not call an admissions counselor at UF and inquire?
