Why Do Blue Counties Have A Higher Educated Populus Than Red Counties?

Blue counties throughout the U.S. in general have a higher educated population than red counties. Is this due to many having universities or is it because Democrats are smarter?

Interesting stats. I think that most people who are educated are smarter. They are attracted to education because they have a hunger to learn.
Many educated people become democrats because they can think through the logic and ethics of the party platforms.

I don’t see how a higher percentage of people with degrees makes them smarter, or more highly educated. You can be completely educated and never attend one day of school, you just have to learn things, and what I’ve learned through life is you don’t measure people’s intelligence by the degree they have or what their GPA is. In fact, more often than not, I would rate the people with the better educations as being dumber, they are often very book smart but in practice are not quite as capable.

The county in Oregon where Bill Gates resides must list him as high school only grad. Can you name a more generous and successful degree holder? The difference between a great philanthropist and a poser is the great one uses his or her money and the poser uses other people’s money by taxing them to the point of indifference.

Counties mean nothing. I’m from a state and county that is supposed to be very low on education but yet I went 6 years to college, I’ve taught school and I had an IQ of 146. Maybe you need to stop believing all of the BS the LIEberal media tells you.

There’s a well-known correlation between higher education and a more liberal outlook. It has to do with having studied history and having travelled, which gives a person perspective and tends to not foster prejudices and parochial fears.

Because liberals like looking down their noses at the working class and the middle class even though they are the backbone of America and America couldn’t survive without them.

The more liberal colleges become the more the inclination to be a liberal out of college. It is a kind of brain washing and if you want to pass, you better tow the liberal dogma with you.

You just disproved your own thesis by only being able to name 6 counties out of the hundreds contained in within all 57 states.

That’s a lot of cherry picking. Take Wayne County MI, thats a huge Blue county, how do they compare??
    Lorain Co. OH?
    Degrees don’t make people smart
